HEALTH INTERESTS:

Back (thoracic),  neck,  right arm,  some say fibromyalgia. My body is a freak and no one knows exactly what's wrong. Did fall when I was a teenager & so began the downward spiral.

DRUGS I AM TAKING:

Daily - Oxycontin 30mg; 600mg Epilim; 20mg Deptran; 5mg Antenex

ABOUT ME:

I have lived with CP for 13 yrs and like all of us afflicted there have been times of deep depression, esp when I had to stop working (I was a Chef...I know hardly an ideal job!)and then days which are much better, but it never goes away. I have tried just about everything humanly possible re therapies, be them alternate or mainstream. To no avail!! Thankfully I can laugh (I have a naughty sense of humour) have a great family (though they are far away which is hard), some fabulous friends & a beautifully behaved daughter - though raisng a child is also not easy when the mind is willing and the body is not! I am sure plenty of you can understand that too. This is my first support group, so I look forward to "chatting" with some of you soon. Take care. Cheers, Sam (Samantha)
