HEALTH INTERESTS:

chronic pain. joint pain,  back pain,  knee pain. I've had 3 heart attacks,  i have a stent. I'm depressed with an anxiety disorder. had lyme disease for over a year without treatment due to mid-diagnosis.

DRUGS I AM TAKING:

metoprol,  niaspan,  slow release nitro glycerin,  lexapro,  xanax,  fentanyl patches,  roxicodone,  aspirin,  plavix.

ABOUT ME:

i can't take anti-inflammatory meds due to my heart condition with the blood thinners. My depression increased along with my anxiety after my wife passed away. I've been really anxious lately because i'm having a hard time finding a prescribing doctor in Maine. my pain clinic in Ct. said I can come back every 4 months untill the problem is resolved but it's a 14 hour round trip. I've been on the same medications for over 7 years but changing my geographical location is making things difficult because of the fear doctors have of the D.E.A..

I can sympathize with them, I hope they can sympathize with me. My stent has clogged twice so I've had 3 angioplasties , the original when I was 34, then 2nd heart attack at 36, then another attack 1 year ago that I sat through after taking 10 nitros. For 2 hours I laid there waiting for it to stop or to die. It stopped. Two weeks later I had the stent replaced again. My faith has strengthened me since then. I'm still depressed and miss my wife terribly but I know I'm here for some purpose. The pains of my heart have been eased. praise God.

If any of you know a decent doctor in the Dover-Foxcroft area who will continue my treatment for pain please let me know. thank you.
