HSV1 and HSV2 and oral sex

I tested positive for HSV! and my boyfriend has HSV2. We useto have unprotected sex but have since stopped. What are the risk for me to get HSV2 if he performs orally on me? Is there a risk if I preform on him? Does the fact that I have 1 and him 2 give us a barrier of protection from cross infecting each other? One more question is it a good idea for us to continue to use protection when having anal sex?
