I have worked professionally in Project Management, Public Speaking, and Marketing, as well as taught design and business on a college level for eight years. In 2009 I started a "Movement of Awareness", which spiraled into the International Autoimmune Arthritis Movement (IAAM), an official 501c3 nonprofit that obtained status in 2011.  While I also founded IAAM, I serve as the CEO, where I oversee all  business relationships, the Media Awareness Hotline, Advertising, and the Volunteer Training Program. 

In addition to IAAM, I have been selected as a Patient Advocate for the American College of Rheumatology for the last two years, so I have been able to travel to Washington DC to address current issues with congressional representatives on Capitol Hill.  I am also the Autoimmune Arthritis Examiner on Examiner.com and have toggled my professional speaking career into presentations that involve education about dealing with chronic illness.
