HEALTH INTERESTS:

Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis, Spondylolithesis,  Degenerative Disc Disease,  Drop foot,  Hiatus hernia with reflux .

DRUGS I AM TAKING:

msContin,  Ezetrol,  Losec and various herbs and vitamins.

ABOUT ME:

I have lived a pretty active life and played many sports. In 1995 a herniated disc at L4-5 compressed a nerve leaving me with a drop foot. I had a discectomy and a laminectomy which didn't help and later had a tendon transfer which also didn;t work and I have been left with permanent paralysis from knee down in left leg. Since then my hands have developed rheumatoid athritis which is painful and my hands get very stiff. I have been suffering from depression, understandably, with a bit of anger that I can no longer do the things I could do earlier. I still suffer from back pain and the worst thing is I have excess sweating. Have to change nightclothes 2-3 times during the night and my bedding is wet too. During the day I sweat more than normal and often change my wet clothes.
