Fractured Ribs

My father has fractured his ribs from a fall. He has been to the hospital and found out that he has fractured his 3rd to 6th ribs. Luckily there were no fragments. Thus, doctors as prescribe Celebrex and told him to rest at home, as the bones will grow back in 2 months time. I would like to know, is there anything else we can do to make the healing process faster, as well as my dad being more confortable. Shall he take calcium supplements...
