magnesium deficiency and b12 deficiency

Does anyone have any experience dealing with either a magnesium deficiency or b12 deficiency as a cause of their migraines?

I was recently diagnosed as iron deficient (anemic for more than a year) .... I am taking iron supplements daily, and I discovered some interesting information about the correlation of migraines with anemia, b12, and magnesium deficiencies ..... I was recently seen in our local ER on July 6th, for intractable...

They're Back.....

Hi everyone! I haven't written in quite awhile, things have been going well-- less headaches, and less intensity- up until november 24th.

With the snow storms returning, it seems to have kicked my migraines into high gear. I'm still working with my neurologist. I'm struggling with my meds-- which dont seem to be working. I'm on 37.5mg of Effexor ER a day, maxalt mlt, midrin, ultram, and zofran. I still practice yoga, deep...

MIGRANOL NOSE SPRAY...............PLEASE RESPOND

I used the migranol nose spray for the first time today...........

I felt weird. Kind of "speedy", and my heart beat faster, and now, 6hrs later (one spray each nostril at 9:30 this morning) i feel like I was run over by a truck. My whole right side hurts, my arm, side under my armpit, low back, and leg. On top of it, my headache is back----worse then it was this morning.

anyone have any experience with this med???...

big changes in my little world.....

well....it has been quite a while since I've written anything.......The last time I posted was shortly after my spinal tap.....well things have changed quite a bit.

1. I broke up with my boyfriend of 2 years----I needed to get my life back on track, and my health under control again. he also had a problem with my headaches.....which the last thing I want to be, is a burden on anyone. It was the best decision for...

Post-Spinal Tap. Intractable Migraines?

Hello Everyone!!

Spinal Tap was interesting. Did not go nearly as smooth as I had hoped--but it wasn't the worst one I've been through either. A radiologist did this one, with a little xray machine---it was kind of weird. Anyone who has ever had a spinal tap I would love a message---as this one was different then the others. I don't want to share all the lovely details with everyone, but I would like to have...

Migraine Specialist.............Spinal Tap Time

Well, good news and bad news. The specialist I was told I wouldn't be able to see until the end of june was able to see me on 5/7/08-5/8/08. She did a very very detailed exam and history with me. It was quite awesome actually, she listened to everything I had to say, and complimented me on my knowledge of IIH and migraines--and the steps I have done for myself to help get thru until I could see her.

I started off the...

Please let me just start off with giving myself props for making it through the past couple months without having a breakdown. It has been the most trying time of my life---yet I'm still hanging on!!
ER Trip Last Friday

Well, let me first say this---I seem to have been battling a series of headaches/migraines since the end of july. Starting in July, August, Sept, Oct, Nov I spent one day a month in the ER with a migraine with uncontrollable vomiting so I couldn't even try to keep what meds I had down (these migraines were a 10, came on suddenly and violently--but other then that day or two I was pretty much headache free). Since...

So, monday I posted "another day, another headache". I slipped on the ice on my way out to the orthopedic (did i mention my fiance broke his knee, so he is off work for 4-6 weeks ) and cracked myself a good one. On top of battling the headache my body felt like it had been ran over by a semi...... today, wednesday feb 27th--still have the same headache....I had an aura on monday and it seems to have stuck with me...
