I live in western North Carolina. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes approximately 4 years ago. Most of the time my diabetes is well controlled by diet,excercise and oral meds. Over the last year or so though it is almost as if someone flips a switch and my blood sugars, heart rate and blood pressure take a roller coaster ride for a few days. I have diabetic neuropathy in my feet and legs that is slowly getting worse. For the most part though I think I am managing pretty well.PHOTOS:
