I've lived most of my pretty charmed 47 years in stoic, conservative, North Dakota. Just before 2010 arrived, I took a speed-of-light nose dive into a suicidal tidal wave of depression. By February, all traces of the charmed world vanished. Like the self-reliant, uncomplaining North Dakotan I am, I quietly resolved to kill myself and tell no one. I've embarked on a journal as an attempt to chart my own journey through a bewildering plunge into suicide. Please comment, question or share your reactions to my struggles and stories.
