ABOUT ME:

I am a 59 year old woman diagnosed with MS 1/07. I have brain and cervical spine lesions. I had a long history of idiopathic (unknown) illnesses, multiple doctors & no answers. I believe my MS began in my late 30's. I have been married 29 years and have raised 2 sons. My life has been one of art & music since I was 4 yrs old. Until 2002, I was active in regional art & museum shows, have several published children's books & book covers. The image shown on my name & profile here is one of my originals. I have made several record albums,(CD's now), since 1978.I have had to give up singing for churches & charities because of recurring lung infections & ongoing breathing problems. In the past, I have also built doll houses & miniatures for artistic purposes. Arthritis & lung problems have made building & painting difficult so I now focus on my faith, selling antique dolls & writing. I am still very much in love with my husband & am involved with all my children & grand children. I have lived outside of the mainstream all of my life. I hope someday to create new artworks & re-connect with my fans, the local children. I also hope to get a DX for the lung problems so I can return to singing in the churches. I feel like a prisoner in my home. Like most artists, I was always busy, used to 16 hour days. Read my poem MONSTER for a look at how I feel these days. Only my faith in God & my family keep me going.
