Drs. told my parents when I was hit by the car @15 years old there was a good chance I`d be in a wheelchair by the time I was 45. Well today is my 58th birthday and I`m not in a wheelchair but I hurt ALL the time, can`t sleep much, can`t really do anything any more. I have good days and bad days(the bad days REALLY suck). The medications I take make most of the pain bearable on a good day. But it`s getting worse not better. If all I have to look forward to is a life full of pain I`m not sure I want to do that. My state has a medical marijuana law, but I don`t think I qualify. I`m sure it would help some, it would be better than drinking myself to sleep and healthier. All the doctors I`ve been to are afraid to deal with the problem. I`ve got a doctor now that is compassionate but wants to take me off the drugs. I don`t see much alternative though and my PAIN gets worse!PHOTOS:
