It's nice to be here. I'm a 59 year old grandmother that has been living with chronic pain for 11 years. My daughter calls me the unrealistic optomist. I'm pretty up beat and that is probably the best gift I could have been given, as a personality trait. I love to craft and find it a great way to distract the pain. I also do a lot of reading. Although I am somewhat limited in what I can do physically, I can go for a daily walk and count my blessing that I can do that. My pet peeve: I'd love to throw the word "guilt" away as I think the feelings of guilt, that we allow ourselves feel, is not helpful to our personal journey with pain.Hope to get to know many of you.
