My son now 14, is ADHD and taking Concerta.  My husband is bi-polar and on Lithium.  My daughter now, 11 is an amazing, patient, understanding and forgiving young lady.  I am very careful to make sure she gets all the attention she deserves not just what she needs. Home life with her brother and father are not always easy!  My son is doing well on his meds, that being said their are great inconsistencies in his school work and we are always struggling to balance things out.  My husband is not doing as well with his meds.  he has a difficult time being compliant which further effects his demeanor.  There are days that I don't know how I'm going to get through, and yet I count my blessings because I do know it could be worse!
