ABOUT ME:

I am a single mother of an 11 yr. old. I have been in pin for over 5 years, all on the leftside of my head. For 4 years I was called crazy, and a seeker. Then I was diagnosed with Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia branches 1 and 2. I had a glycerol rhysotomy in 8/07 which was to last 3-5 years. About 4 months later I started experiencing occipital pain at which time I was called depressed and I'll get over it. I had finally found a Dr. in Columbia, NY who diagnosed me with Hemicrania Continua. The Indomethacin works a little, obviously not much. I used to have cortizone injections in the occipital once a month until the Dr. in NY suggest to get cortizone injections in between C2/C3 and C3/C4. Next month I will be burning the nerves by radiofrequency. I have to hold down a full time job and take care of my daughter which is exausting and lonely. I feel like I am the only one ( which I know is not true) but when everything is effected by something like this I really get hard on myself.
