Prednizone off and on...ABOUT ME:
I was diagnosed with RA in Feb of 2008. It affects my elbows,wrists,hips and knees. Mostly it is in my hands which is scarey as I still work full time to support myself. I enjoy my job and find it fullfilling. Then there is the, "I wish I could lay on the floor,how will I ever make it up the stairs", caffine doesn't help" kind of exhaustion. The prednisone helps this, but made me gain 20lbs. Depression knocks on my door regularly like a pesty next door neighbor. I have a querky sense of humor and a possitive attitude that really help me cope. My hobbies are watching football(the Packers),reading, scrapbooking,and other crafts, and hanging out with my daughters.PHOTOS:
