I'm 26 years old and have been dealing with near-daily to daily migraines for the last 4 years. I got my first migraine when I was about 4. I woke up from a nap at the babysitters with severe nausea, light sensitivity, and a throbbing headache. I decided at that point that I didn't like naps :)
I now have transformed migraine, tension headaches and exertional headaches. My mother, her sister and both of their parents have all suffered from Migraine Disease. I had a horrible headache with tension and nausea the entire day of my wedding, making it very hard to be the "happiest day of my life." Luckily, my husband has migraine attacks and understands my pain. He only gets them about once every 3-5 months.
I got to start seeing Dr. Krusz this on my 26th birthday and so far, I'm very happy. Of course, I'm not headache free yet, but I am so hopeful now that someone seems to generally care about me and my well-being. I am so grateful to him and Teri (I got his name off her Web site) for the hope they have given me.
