being sick with diabetes.....

so my boyfriend and his daughter both have been sick. one had the flu and the other, a really bad stomach virus. i've had diabetes for 15 years and everytime i get sick, it never fails.i dont want to eat, thus i dont want to take my shots in fear i'll go low, which then i'll have to eat something, and its just a vicious cycle. i woke up this morning and my blood sugars were well over 500, yea anyone knows with numbers like that, no way you can...
