ABOUT ME:

I've had chronic severe migraines since age 13 - I've been on many meds, been hospitalized at Diamond Headache clinic in Chicago, had bioenergetic synchronization technique with chiropractor, had acupuncture. Many of the things I've tried have given me short term relief but I always escalate again. Currently having good luck with Gut Brain Therapy - best I've been in 5 years. Have felt suicidal many times but could never do that to my family. Pain has affected every relationship I've ever had to some degree, though I've always worked and pushed past the pain as much as possible to be able to socialize and have relationships, and of course to pay the bills! I try hard not to be defined by my pain but by my faith in God, which has helped me survive and overcome much. He has a purpose for everything that happens, though I probably won't know it until I go home!
