I've only been diagnosed for 4 yrs and still struggle with the dx, taking the meds, the team of doctors, how I view myself (well, I've always struggled with that!), and my family's awareness of my condition versus their desire to not have to bother knowing about it. Confused and conflicted sums it up, with a huge helping of Anxiety involved in everything. Oh yes, I'm an artist, both performing and visual. I also write, grow food, have 3 grown sons, (one of whom has severe Bipolar with Psychosis) and 2 grandkids. I don't pay them enough attention, and now I realize that my mood issues have a lot to do with that.PHOTOS:
