ABOUT ME:

As a step-parent, I took take the crash course in diabetes. I learned a lot in a short time, including many lessons from SD. Nevertheless, all my efforts and good intentions feel meaningless. To them I'm just in the way. So, I've been trying to remove myself and the result has been a better relationship between father and children. Sometimes it's best to stand back and let life take its course.
