ABOUT ME:

I am currently in practice at Camden Bone and Joint in Camden, South Carolina. I completed my biology degree at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland and my medical degree at Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I completed my internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and then my residency in orthopaedic surgery at Texas Tech University/William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. I am Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in Orthopaedic Surgery and I am also subspecialty certified in Sports Medicine. I have been fortunate to serve the largest professional athletic organization in the world, the U.S. Army. No other professional organization, short of NFL, NBA, NHL, etc.., has such rigorous and intense compulsory conditioning, physical fitness and rehabilitation requirements. In my practice, I find great satisfaction in helping my patients keep their active lifestyles. Whether watching my patients compete for college scholarships, professional contracts, or just comfortably enjoying more time with their families, I feel that I am truly blessed with the work I do. I am also involved in my gymnastics training facility, Wateree Gymnastics Center, developing advanced training techniques and injury prevention.
