High PSA count

Dear Doctor,

I have gone through 2 biopsy surgeries with the last year. The surgeries were 6 months apart and both results came back negative. Yet, my PSA count continues to climb. It started at 2.25 about a year ago and is now at 12.5.

I am scheduled for evaluation and tests the end of this month at a cancer reasearch center in Buffalo NY...I guess I just confused as to why my docotr said I wasn't at risk yet...
