I am married 37 years to Michael. We had a daughter, Rachel who was taken from us in 1995 from a brain tumor. I was diagnosed in 2002 with uteran and colon cancer and had a hysterectomy and partial colon resection. In 2003 a tumor was found on the body of my pancreas, malignant, and I had a distal pacreatectomy, no treatments. In 2005 I had more of my colon removed - a section just failed, no cancer found. In 2007 another tumor was found in the head of my pancreas and underwent a whipple surgery. Recently a lump was biopsyed in my left breast which is more cancer. I now have surgery scheduled for March 9th for a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction using expanders. I am trying to obtain all the information I can about this procedure before the surgery and looking for feedback from your subscribers who have had the procedure. I have not held down a job since 2002, but prior to that I was in the optometry field for many years. I enjoy decorating my house with all the painting and stenciling, sewing, gardening, and my dog Caley and rabbit Cotlet. Love housework and cooking for my husband. We love trying new restaurants, sports, riding in our convertible - and remembering our beautiful daughter every minute of each day.PHOTOS:
