Before contracting stage 3 breast cancer I was teaching Latin, Greek mythology, film and writing at Howard University and was writing program notes for one of the the two music presenting groups of which I am a director. Since working full time is no longer an option I have begun to speak out to promote healthy survivorship through vigorous exercise such as dragon boating and strength training while continuing with my other volunteer activities.PHOTOS:
