I feel like my world is closing in on me. I am to go see my neurologist on Wed. Luckily he sees me for gratis. Praise God because I have no money to pay him. Does anyone know how I can find a migraine specialist who deals specifically with hemiplegic migraines? I have a referral (supposedly) to the migraine specialist here in Nashville from my neurologist but he called her office last Wednesday and her office was supposed to contact me and they have yet to do so. Well...went to the neurologist today (nuerosurgeon had to reschedule) and I didn't get the best of news. He said my migraines may be as good as they are going to get. He wants to try adding Verapamil to med regimine as there has been some success with that in hemiplegic migraines. (thanks Nancy, I didn't get to read your post... Read more
