Cynthia Dennison Haines, M.D. (Dr. Cindy Haines) is Chief Medical Officer of HealthDay, Managing Editor of HealthDay-Physician's Briefing, and President of Haines Medical Communications, Inc., a medical communications and consulting firm.
Dr. Cindy Haines earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and psychology from Saint Louis University. She went on to earn an M.D. with Distinction, as well as a Geriatric Scholar's Award, from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Haines is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University's School of Medicine in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is board certified in Family Medicine. She was honored with election to the National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals in 2004, the Guide to America's Top Family Doctors in 2007, and is also a member of the International Mensa Society. Dr. Haines is very active in the community as Past President of the Saint Louis Academy of Family Physicians and active member of numerous other professional organizations.
