HEALTH INTERESTS:

Chronic back pain. I want to decrease the morphine,  but doctor insists on decreasing Soma and increasing morphine. Need a new doctor. I just want to live a tolerable life in which I can participate socially as well as occupationally. Goals: Regain ability to work and enjoy some minimal recreational life.

DRUGS I AM TAKING:

Soma,  morphine sulfate er,  alprazolam,  cymbalta,  restoril

ABOUT ME:

My back was injured 15 years ago when someone kicked a stool out from under me as a joke. I have undergone multiple surgeries and too many procedures to count. I now have an artificial disc at L5-S1 (part of a clinical trial). None of these helped and most made me temporaily or permanently worse. I have severe low back pain (L5-S1) 24/7. This limits me so badly that I feel isolated from the world. I so desperately want to enjoy life--I live in San Diego and most days here are beautiful, but I cannot participate in anything.
