ABOUT ME:

I took methotrexate and sulphasalazine after i got diagnosed in 2000. Both made me feel quite ill and so i gave up on them, trying to find something natural to help. While i've had some success with supplements and diet, it's still very hard to control RA, unless one is really switched on mentally and has stealy determination. Diet really helps the most, but is very hard to stick with long term. I may have to go back on drugs as i feel like i'm losing the battle. I have lots of joint damage and am facing becoming crippled - i want to avoid the surgery that is being recommended for me now. I wish i wasn't so sensitive to drugs - other ppl take them and feel fine, but not me. I need to get a life. I've been living in misery for too long. Best wishes to all... Leonie
