ABOUT ME:

I am a former nuclear physicist who studied at Harvard, and am now living in the Himalayas of India, as an author, and publisher and spiritual counselor. Although I look and think and feel young, but I am 68 years of age. I lead a mostly sedentary life but go out for long walks on hill roads and slopes. I had a hamstring strain that led me to the diagnosis of a herniated disc, and osteoporosis in 2007. I took Actonel 35 mg weekly for about 10 months and then stopped unwittingly. I am without any symptoms but am taking calcium maleate citrate tablets with 250 mg elemental calcium. I have yet to get another bone density scan...so wish me luck whenever I do!!
