Sloane Miller, a Pushcart Prize nominated author, was awarded her MFA in Writing and Literature from Bennington College in 1998. She is a recognized leader in the blogsphere. Her website, http://allergicgirl.blogspot.com/ , explores how she lives a full life with food allergies and features useful tips, interviews, restaurant picks and hotel reviews all geared toward the allergic/asthmatic community.

Sloane is a licensed psychotherapeutic social worker, awarded her MSW/CSW from New York University in 2000. She has counseled adults, children, families, couples and groups and currently, she has a private practice coaching adults with allergies and asthma.
