ABOUT ME:

I'm 39, very happily married, love to surf (longboard) in Santa Cruz. I have a 6-year old who is in Dual-Immersion (Spanish/English) and loves school. I love volunteering at his school. My husband is a great guy. I've had severe headaches since I was 18. They are probably the only thing about my life that really sucks. Well, that and having fibro, but I pretty much have both of them under control through diet, exercise and I'm always trying a lot of alternative med stuff and much of it has worked for me. I am NOT at all a fan of the big drug companies and I think much of their meds are poisons that make us worse instead of better. It does, however, make them very, very rich. I do take a few prescription medications, but I am very much looking forward to the day when I can get off all of them and live medication-free. That day will come-- I know it will. One day I will be migraine-free, and one day they will find a cure for FMS. If not in my lifetime, then in my son's lifetime, (he has been diagnosed with Juvenile Fibromyalgia.)
