ABOUT ME:

I was born and raised in Georgia. I've been married twice and had two children by each marriage. My youngest child was finally a girl, who is now a senior in high school. My oldest son, who was my best friend, passed away September a year ago, from trying to self-medicate. He suffered from the same disorders that I do, only I'm still not sure what that is. I've been diagnosed with PTSD, followed by depression, panic attacks, ADD, depersonalization, and agaraphobia. My mom died two weeks before my son at 87. My last husband was abusive and I had to take my two youngest children and go undercover, leaving Georgia in 1995, to save our lives. My two children are finally 18 and 20 and love it out here. My oldest son that passed always came and lived where we lived to make sure we were okay. Now that he's gone, I'm on my own. All my family is in Georgia, and they aren't aware of these mental problems I have. I'm hanging in there, but most of my life has been loss, survival, and believing that I am NOT insane. I Love my cats and have two. Without my kitties I would have never made it. I have great faith, but it's been wavering greatly lately. Hopefully, you will welcome me to this group. I welcome you and believe in ALL of you.
