Started Out as The Common Cold

Ok so the migraine that I have now actually started out as the common cold bout a month ago. The cold progressed into a sinus infection and with me out of work I can't exactly go to the Doctor to get meds for it. This morning I woke up with my head killing me at 2am. It felt like I had someone mashing my head trying to squeeze it together. I have taken two Lortab 10 and so far it still hasn't gone away. At least with this new job I will...

Has anyone else had memory loss, not due to meds?

I know this is kinda wierd, but some of the migraines I get I end up with major memory loss. I forget the basics and even forget how to talk. I have a speach problem(studdering) it makes it hard for me to talk then as well. I know some of the meds that are given can cause short term memory loss that is regained, but has anyone had any memory loss due to just their migraine?

My Intro

My name is Gwen , I live on the Mississippi Gulf coast where I have my entire life. I have had migraines since I was 12 years old. I will be 30, January 7, 2008. They still have yet to figure out what causes my migraines, but they do know that my migraines have gotten worse since my car wreck in 2002 when I was thrown head first from the car. I have also started having what they call ocular migraines in the past year and a half where I...

Going to the ER for that oh so painful shot!!!!!!!!

I went to the ER this past sunday for that oh so painful shot in the hip, to rid me of the migraine that I have had for bout a week now, I never got it. I sat there for three hours while they took people ahead of me that came in after me one with a little cough and one with an upset stomach. For crying out loud, do these people not understand the circumstances of a migraine? Unfortunately I am one of the many that have had to be put on...
