HEALTH INTERESTS:

left leg torn off in a motorcycle accident,  gunshotleft flank,  chronic pain,  high blood pressure,  high cholesterol,  phantom pain,  sciatica,  PTSD and arthritis.I've had over 40 surgery's and a few more things that aren't that bad.Sorry forgot diabetes.

DRUGS I AM TAKING:

I take 30mgs of methadone 4 times a day,  30mgs of baclefen 3 x's a day.lopressure 100 mgs 2x's a day,  lisinopril 20 mgs 1x a day,  clonidine 0.4 4x's a day,  Clonapam 2 ma 3 x's a day,  crestor 20 mgs 1 x a day,  fiber in many forms to keep me going and with one leg you really don't want to be as loose as a goose.I just got out of the hospital when I went in I had an 80% blood oxygen level.The normal is 96 to98%.I found out I had pnumonia at that time.My left lung was getting no air-oxygen nothing.They told my wife to go home and get some rest.After a few day's they gave me 3 transfusions.I has 2 bleeding ulcers.What did I know I was almost dead I didn't care,  I just anted them to stop sticking me.After 9 day's they said I caould go home and get home nursing and home therapy.That's about all of that,  I hope it helped.When I saw my name today it was a shock.I figured I owed the rest of the story whatever I remember.Thanks

ABOUT ME:

I started in the lahey clinic Arlington in 1999 with Dr.Joanne Oh.The clinic closed and I followed up inWinchester.All of this time I was taking 70mg of methadone a day and getting steroid shots that had a bad effect on me.I had a heat induction procedure that didn't work very well.When the chief of pan clinic left I went to lahey clinic Burlington.They did a few procedures and again my Dr.left and the last one I saw was the chief of the pain clinic and I was on12 a day of methadone of which my current dasage is the same.He said we can't help you anymore and told me to just keep getting my meds from my primary care doc and that was it.That was from 1999 to 3/8/2007.I always kept up with the contract I signed with doctor Oh and I've nver abusedmy meds or used illegal meds infact at 45yrs I got married in2001.I'm in very bad shape now because I'm afaid that if I want to change meds to something new that might work better they'll just take me off everything.I'm afraid and feel like everyone thinks if you take methadone your a drug user.I'm in alot of pain and some days I would probably take my life except it would kill my wife.I married a waman from Brasil and I spoke no Portugues and she spoke no english.April 12,2007 wil be our 5th anniversary and love her more today than ever.I just won my case against the makers of Zyprexa for $84,000.We have a house in Brasil,I made sure that we went through the whole INS thing she paid her taxes and thinks it's great to get a refund.I don't take her anyplace because I'm always in pain.I might try a doc in Brasil they are not so scared to treat the pt. and provide the meds that work because the gov't is over thier shoulder.People talk about dying with dignity haw about living with dignity.I have more but it's time for a pill.HaHa!!!!! joe
