I am 35 year old mother of four. I am engaged to a beautiful man who has been my knight in shinning armor, he came into my life and into what was already a family, and and about a month into our dating came the diagnosis.....MS! he didn't run.....6 months later.....Fibromyalgia and then a year ago.......Sciatica turned to herniated disk ( huge load of baggage as some would call it)  . All this and he hasn't blinked once never said "this is too much for me" never ran ( as I expected and would've understood) when MS was the issue he trained with a nurse and learned to give me the shots and did so every week, has always gone with me to all dr. appointments and has just been incredibly supportive.

I have a 16 yr. old daughter and then 15, 13, 11 yr. old boys. And we just found out that I am pregnant with what will be my 5th and his first. We are scared about the whole thing considering the medications I've been taking for almost 2 years now for my pain. we saw a perionatologist who basically judged me and treated me like a street drug addict and pretty much said you cannot carry this pregnancy to term, I say you terminated this pregnancy, go on birth control, take a year to get yourself off of the meds and then wait three months after that to even attempt another pregnancy, you'r body is addicted, your baby will be too and they won't let you take it home, they'll keep it at the hospital pump it with other stuff and keep it untill it's not addicted before they let you take it home" Can you imagine what that was like....horrific.  I found this site right after I came home from thet horrible appt. and started to do some research searching for some help,advice....anything. And so far this site has proven to be a true gift. I hope to find some great friends here.
