I'm 51 and have had migraines since the age of 7 years old. My son has them too. He is 19 and his began around 5 years old. I believe they are hereditary and also that various triggers can start one. I have tried every type of migraine medicine and treatment. I now have learned to get through the rough ones with imitrex and when their not debiltating, I take the pain medicine so I can keep going. I've lost so many days to these horrible migraines that I try my hardest not to lose anymore of my life to them. I'm not always successful, but I haven't given up hope of winning the battle someday.PHOTOS:
