Hi there, the name's Jaime. I'm just your average, everyday high school junior. As an adult I aspire to work as an animal cop, and I've been dealing with severe headaches, jaw pain, otalgia, and chest pain every day for almost two years now. Furthermore, my doctors have yet to find any treatment that works. This undiagnosed syndrome has put my academic, social, and personal life on an extended hiatus, but I know all I can do is just keep pushing forward, and do the best I can with what I have.

So far, I have tried Topamax, Amitriptyline, Keppra, D.H.E. 45, Axert, Amerge, Imitrex, Maxalt, along with chiropractic treatment, all to no avail.

I'm sure many of you are in the same boat, and I can earnestly say that I sympathize. But oddly enough, it is somewhat comforting to see for myself that I am not the only person with the same problems. As we all certainly know, these monsters are utterly disabling - not only when it comes to missing school or work, but also missing out on precious family and friend time too. Not to mention the sheer, indescribable pain itself, and the emotional slumps that follow.

Lastly, I'd like to say that I really do admire whoever created this site (or the overall idea of bringing us migraineurs together to share our experiences), and I hope to be of some help to at least one of you all. As they say, there's strength in numbers.
