I am a fifty four year old woman who will be turning fifty five later thi s month, living with paranoid schizophrenia.  I started having hallucinations at age six and my illness hit me hard and was  hospitalized at age fourteen.  I did a research protocol at the National Institutes of Mental Health in 2005-2006- the modafonil protocol, a double blind study to test concentration and memory in schizophrenics with the usage of modafonil. .  I have lived abroad as my parents, diceased now of about eighteen years were in the foreign service.  I now live alone in my own condominium and have published three books of poetry, illustrated, with hope that  I will have another published in the near future!
