I was in a car accident almost 5 years ago come June 17. I seriously injured my neck, I kept trying to work at my factory job. My doctor kept telling me my neck would heal but instead it got worse. The pain moved down my right arm and into my hand. So now I have nerve damage in that hand. I have not worked for over three years. If it wasn't for the kindness of my friends I would not have a place to live, I am very grateful to them. It has been an uphill battle with trying to get SSDI and to get the doctors to listen to me. I feel like no one around me understands the constant pain I go through every day. There are times when I think about living another five, ten years like this...sometimes it's hard to hold on to life especially knowing the pain will get worse. I hope by joining this group that I will get some feedback and support about how to deal with this pain.PHOTOS:
