hello again,

this is going to be a semi-short share post seeing my shoulders are rebounding from the first of 3 in my series of injections. i had the first set this past thursday, 2 trigger point injections in my left shoulder and the occipital nerve block. so far so good, just a lot of ice and rest. now its stretching time. the steroids are kicking in so its a good time to start...

good morning everyone,
ive been waiting for today for more than 2 weeks now to find out if i require neck surgery or not...
and on top of that, i left my old contact lens in my eyes for too long now i have a really red left eye. i have to go visit my eye doctor as well... when it rains it pours. but hey, thats life... make it thru learning a lesson or two and you'll keep your wits about you, as well as a good mood...
let ya know how it...

nerve blockage, migraines, fibromyalgia at 28

hello again... i havent made a share post in a long time now. ive been undergoing treatment at my local pain management center where i get trigger point injections and occipital nerve blocks for migraines... these injections do not make the pain completely disappear but they subdue the intensity of the pain to bare minimum only lasting about 3 months. then its back to pain mgmt for the next round... however, on a recent visit to my primary care...

positional vertigo at age 26

this past monday i just found out that i have been suffering with the vertigo. only in this past month has it gotten worse with intensity and frequency. i almost passed out in the checkout line turning ghost white with my eyes rolling in the top of my head. i pray this is the last of the problems but it never is. my doctor is still watching for any signs of MS. im going back to see my neurologist next week. but say for this weekend im going to...

disowning my so called "family"

this morning my little sister drop flipped me slamming my head and shoulders into the sharp edge of the couch giving me a concussion. what brought it on was a fight about her still going and interupting me and always thinks in her ego-centric brain of hers that whenever i say anything to her that im asking her for her advice... WTF??? 1st she would be the last person i would ever go to for advice... she is so judgemental and critical,...

just another (painful) day

i have another sinus infection. it seems all too often that these sinus infections get me good. having a sinus infection along with MPS greatly magnifies the intensity and frequency of the pain. it took me over a year to figure out it was sinus problems making my pain worse, i just thought it was increased pain for some reason. and that reason i found out is sinus pressure. having both occipital neuralgia as well as MPS is a combined pain...

Amen and Hallelujah to that sister! thank you very much for your prayers and support. every lil bit does help, especially when reaching out to others who understand the severity of symptoms of chronic pain that no one else seems to understand unless they have been thru it themselves. my boyfriend chris had back surgery on his lower back for a herniated disc. now he has slight-acute back pain, mostly when the winter weather acts up. my...

hahaha, this is all a cosmic joke, right????

im going in for an MS consult, i am already diagnosed with myofascial pain syndrome and occipital neuralgia. Ive been going through chronic pain for the past 2 years. Lots of 'things' have been ruled out, like carpal tunnel etc. Are my doctors just trying to rule out MS or is this the real thing? My symptoms have increased with intensity and frequency coming at all sorts of random times, however really bad pain comes with any stress or...

hi again,
my last post was me having just about enough of everything. now, the tables have turned again. i am now going in to be tested for MS. if my diagnosis hasnt been bad as it is with occipital neuralgia, myofascial pain syndrome, and now this!!??? thank You Jesus that He did not give me a spirit of fear, He has given me a Spirit of hope and joy. otherwise i would be curled up in a ball and crying. ive been up since dawn ...

is enough really ever enough?

ok.. when it rains it pours. insurance companies, healthcare, doctors, pain management, they do NOT help individuals let alone an embodiment of something they do not understand. here i am with my voice to make a point, either with my words, or by the will of the doctors, with my life......i am unable to have any further dental work all because of the mystery going on inside of me. my entire left side of my body is so numb. i get nausea and get...
