HEALTH INTERESTS:

cytoxan,  taxotere,  avelox,  aricept

ABOUT ME:

I'm a 53 year old otherwise healthy woman who was diagnosed with Stage II Ductal Cell Carcinoma (breast cancer) April 2010. It had spread to the nodes. So I had lumpectomy, 6 chemos, and then radiation. Followed by Hormone therapy.

 

My education is in Chemical Engineering. I have a good husband and kids. Older son is recently married, living in Asheville. They are both in grad school for chemistry and nursing. Younger son is in Orlando, in school for computer science. My husband's in alternative energy field. I am CEO of college summer wood bat baseball league. I crave being with my friends, I love adrenaline rush of events.

 

Cancer redirected me. I am still, I listen. I started yoga, I meditate. God's presence is like a sunbeam or spotlight shining down on me at times.

 

Every day is beautiful. God makes sure of that!
