We are happily married for 17 yrs. Two adult sons--30 and 28). Live in small town, USA and love it. He is in the Motion Picture Film Production Biz for 37 yrs as a lighting director (gaffer). .......he had a stent put in my heart in '02 and see cardiologist twice yearly and am doing fine, heart-wise. ..........Within the past year he has been feeling poorly--full body ache and pain, has been sleeping for 2-3 days in a row (as work permits). Just aching and feeling bad. Recently both hands got grossly swollen, turned red with awful pain. That lasted abt 2 weeks before it dissipated. A month later he had another flare-up, but was worse than first attack. Went to PCP, had blood tests that confirmed RA. Now waiting to get an appt with RA specialist. Presently the only Rx he is on for RA is a low dose daily Prednisone (He is on a lot of other meds for the cardiology issue).....Now I(Mimi, his wife) would like to find an online support group for some input and all that stuff--- And become on line friends with others with RA--I know nothing abt RA and am looking to learn abt it through other RA patients. ...........I (Chris' wife) (60) is a leukemia patient and has found a great support group through the LLS for my condition and it is a wonderful outlet for me. So, basically, I am looking for something like I found via the LLS as it has been  a Godsend to me
