I was a teacher's assistant 18 years before Dad was diagnosed with dementia. I am living with and caring for him now. I have two grown children and 6 beautiful Grandchildren. I have two sisters and a brother, that do as much as they can to help. One of my sisters and my brother live too far to come often. My sister who lives here, works and has two grandchildren with Autism, so she is very busy.

I have a blog on Yahoo 360 where I share information with those who want to read it, on Alzheimer's, Dementia and other issues about Elders, Seniors and Caregivers. I get my information from many sourses.

I am not a writer, nor a professional, I simply feel that Alzheimer's is an important issue to all of us.
