ABOUT ME:

Migraines began in college with inability to see complete words in front of classroom and eventual blinding pain. Initially, docots I saw were caring and helpful. Saw a specialist that diagnosed me and tried several different medications - preventive, abortive and pain. Since then it has gotten increasingly difficult to find a doctor that will even treat migraines let alone precribe the necessary medication. One "pain specialist" recently wanted to retest me (at great cost - no insurance) and then said they would not prescrive even a limited amount of "resue" pain meds for when abortive meds do not work. Too many expensive trips to the ER. Still looking for quality, CARING doctor.
