(I'm 53)  I have run the gamut on meds, including the latest, topamax.  I'd love to discuss other options including some anti-depressents or calcium channel blockers.  I've done them, but many years ago. I started Topamax on November 25th.  I've had some side effects but nothing unmanageable.  I've had only two breakthrough migraines, which has been wonderful.  Now I have begun experiencing eye pain and pressure.  My pharmacist says he thinks I should continue on my 50 mg.  I believe he knows as much as my doctor and I don't have to pay him.
