ABOUT ME:

I'm a college student again after having a career in the arts for 8 years. I lost the job and now I am going into health care. I hope to be able to work with people who are struggling with depression to improve their lives. I want to do research about the brain and ways to more successfully treat depression in the future. I was hospitalized twice and the depression treatment program I was in helped me tremendously. I wish that this model of treatment was available for every person on the planet with depression because I can testify that drugs are not enough. To really heal you have to learn how to think like a non depressed person and live like a non depressed person and that is a big change that takes a lot of learning, therapy and work!
