I was born with VATERS Syndrome (VATERS Syndrome is an acronym. Each letter stands for each part of the body that can be effected. Also known as VATERS, VACTERAL Association.), a Ventricular Septal Defect (a hole in the heart), Scoliosis with a Hemi-Vertebra, Dislocated hips, a Radial Club Right Hand with 4 fingers and no thumb, one functioning kidney, and muscles missing in my lower right leg. I've had numerous surgeries on each of the above issues including a L4 to Sacrum Posterior Spinal Fusion at 6 years of age in 1982, a Release of Tethered Spinal Cord at 11 years of age in 1987, the Removal of a Dermoid Benign Tumor from Spinal Cord at 13 years of age in 1989, a T12 to Sacrum Posterior Lateral Spinal Fusion at 13 years of age in 1989, a surgery to Correct a scar on back at 19 years of age in 1996, and an Embolization of a Arterio Venous Malformation/Fistula on spinal cord.
