I am 32 years old and have been diagnosed with RA just at the begining of this year. I also have heart disease and some kidney problems from the RA meds I was on: methotrexate and arava and mobic. Does RA weaken your immune system...I know the medications can, as I am taking Arava.
But I have got an exteremely bad head cold/sinus infection and dont know if I should have it treated with a doctor or just continue to let it work itself out?? I am kind of new to this whole RA thing. Thanks.

I am on my 6th week of methotrexate and the doctor had said that the side effects should only last a few weeks to a month. I am still sickly.....very tired and achy like I miss at least 2 days a week of work and upset stomach. Does this feeling ever go away????
