ABOUT ME:

I'm an active, healthy woman and currently expecting my first baby.  I've been a Type 1 diabetic since the age of 17 and also have sturggled with an eating disorder before and after being diagnosed with IDDM.  I'm newely married and working full time as an Xray Tech in a hospital.  I have several hobbies that keep me occupied, the most signinficant being my love of mountain biking.  I met my husband because of this passion and we continue to indulge in it together regularly.  My other passions are being in the outdoors and discovering physically challenging endevors to conquer.  I've compleated several that I'm proud of and the most difficult and rewarding one being a three month trip riding my bike across the the united states without any vehicle support.  I enjoy backpacking, skiing, watersprots, camping, rollerblading, and weightraining.  I currently have most of my time occupied with managing my disease while navigating my way through pregnancy and remaining active.  It's difficult, but certianly not impossible.  I can't wait till my husband and I welcome Winston Grady into our lives.  Hopefully we'll meet him early December 2007!
