I was taking 8 pills a day of Apriso- but it stopped working, now Dr wants me to take Remicade

After reading the side effects- I really do not want to take it unless it is my last choice. I feel like I have only been on 3 mesalimines since I was diagnosed and would like to explore other options... any thoughts?
thank you!

Weight Gain from Colitis in Remission

Has anyone experience weight gain after their colitis has seemed to go into remission? My cocktail of Canasa & Apriso finally started working - but now I feel like I am gaining a good amount of weight. At least 6 pounds in 1 month ugh! help!

When I was first experiencing issues with my bowel- I had picked up Heather's Tummy powder Acacia and it seemed to help. But that was when I thought I had IBS not IBD. I've read yja Psyllium powder can be helpful- Does anyone use it and what one do they prefer?

Feeling Weak, Sluggish, Dizzy and All Around Blah

I've been taking Apriso for a little while- like all of the medications they work usually to stop my BM throught most of the day- and at night- and when I wake up is when I have the worst of it. Does anyone else experience sluiggish feelings? I have a call into my GI doctor and a check up with the regular Dr. Not sure if this a side effect of the drug- symptoms of something else- or another lovely face of Colitis.
Any Ideas?
thank you xo
